Vanessa Mdee, a renowned Tanzanian musician, has made headlines for the first time by discussing her romantic relationship with Nigerian actor Rotimi.
Before meeting Rotimi, Mdee was in a long-term relationship with fellow musician Juma Jux, which ended some time ago.
During an interview with Millard Ayo, Mdee revealed that she met her spiritual partner, Rotimi, at the Essence Music Festival in the US.
She also disclosed that she was born in 1988, a year before Rotimi, who is three years her senior.
"I knew sometimes you meet people who are young but have a lot of knowledge, Rotimi is one of them, and that's why I fell in love with him the first time I saw him," Mdee said.
"We met Rotimi in the US at the Essence Music Festival, and from that moment on, we became close friends, and eventually, we turned into lovers," Mdee added.
When asked about her ex-boyfriend, Mdee wished him well and expressed her happiness with her current relationship with Rotimi.
