A shocking incident has been reported in Mlolongo area of Machakos County where a church member was scolded by his pastor for accepting demotion from his father.
According to reports, the church member had been promised to marry his father's daughter, but he failed to provide dowry.
The pastor, who was approached by the church member for blessings, was shocked to learn that the member had accepted demotion from his father.
The pastor reportedly told the church member, 'You have given your father the responsibility of guiding a woman. What will happen when she becomes your wife or your sister? Let the man find his own wife.'
The church member was left stunned and embarrassed by the pastor's words.
