November 22, 2019, marked a day of intense media scrutiny for Juma Jux, a Tanzanian musician accused of being the reason behind the split marriage of former beauty queen Ruby.
According to reports, Ruby's ex-husband had called her out for allegedly cheating with Diamond Platnumz and Juma Jux, a claim she outrightly denied.
However, the allegations against Juma Jux persisted, with many speculating about the nature of his relationship with Ruby.
Responding to the allegations, Juma Jux stated, 'Kwanza kabisa nasikitika sana inaonekana kwamba mimi ndio sababu. Najua mapenzi, I've been kwenye mapenzi. Unajua alafu watu ambao wamekaa tena wana familia kuvunjika alafu unaambiwa wewe ndio sababu ni kitu ambacho si kizuri. Nasikitika kujua hivo kwa sababu sio hivo. Mimi na Ruby hatujawai kuwa na kitu hata ambacho kinakaribia kwenye kuwa na chochote cha kimahusiano.'
He further explained that he had known Ruby since she worked at a studio owned by one of Tanzania's producers, Bob, and that they had collaborated on his Love album, which was recorded in the company of her then-boyfriend, Kusah.
They had also met again in Arusha to shoot the video for their song, but that was the last time they interacted until paired pictures of them started going viral, which awakened him to the situation.
