Floyd Mayweather, the 42-year-old American boxing legend, has announced his readiness to come out of retirement in 2020, two years after retiring from professional boxing.

According to reports, Mayweather has been challenged for fights by many boxers since his retirement in 2018, and it seems he has finally decided to return to the ring.

Mayweather's announcement has sparked a lot of interest, with many speculating that he may switch to mixed martial arts, a move that could see him join the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

However, Mayweather has hinted that boxing will remain his top priority, despite earning more money from exhibition bouts than professional fights.

Mayweather's decision to return to the ring has been met with excitement from fans and fellow boxers alike, with many eager to see him face off against other top contenders.

One of Mayweather's most notable fights was against Conor McGregor in 2017, which he won by 10th-round stoppage. Mayweather has credited the fight with giving mixed martial arts a huge boost.

When asked about his decision to return to the ring, Mayweather explained that he makes great money from exhibitions, earning between $10 and $30 million per event.

"I'll still travel and do exhibitions. I make great money doing exhibitions; between $10 and $30 million," Mayweather said in an interview with Reuters.

"I think I make more doing that than most fighters make fighting," he added.
