On November 17, 2019, Swae Lee, the American hip-hop rapper, announced through his Instagram stories that he would be performing in Kenya as part of his 'Mother Nature' tour.
Swae Lee, known for his unique hip-hop style, will take the stage at the Jameson Connect on December 7 at the Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi.
His confirmation comes after a brief Twitter exchange with a fan, @olliemutai, who jokingly said that the only song he knew by Swae Lee was 'Unforgettable.' Swae Lee responded by calling the fan a 'loser.'
Swae Lee is part of the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, alongside his brother Slim Jxmmi, who is currently on the 'Runaway tour' with fellow rapper Post Malone.
Other notable artists set to perform in Kenya during the holiday season include Chris Martin, Burna Boy, REMA, Major Lazer, Joeboy, and local artists Fena Gitu and Khaligraph Jones.
