On November 20, 2019, a tragic accident occurred on the Iten Kabarnet road, claiming the life of Daniel Chemjor, Head of Production at K24.
Chemjor, who had previously worked with KTN, was driving his car when it plunged into Cheploch Gorge in River Kerio, resulting in his untimely death.
Eric Njoka, a K24 journalist, took to social media to express his condolences and share his grief over the loss of his colleague.
"Daniel Chemjor, your death has left all of us GUTTED, SHOCKED and just SAD," Njoka wrote in a heartfelt post. "I can’t believe I have lost a colleague so dear to me who only wanted the best for us TV anchors and Hosts at @K24Tv and previously @KTNKenya. Rest well Mr. Director."
