On November 21, 2019, gospel singer Wahu Kagwi found herself on the wrong side of the law, facing three traffic offenses in a Nairobi court.
According to the charge sheets, Wahu was driving a Mercedes Benz along Ring Road in Kileleshwa on November 20, 2019, at 10:10 am.
She was accused of parking her car on the pathway, obstructing traffic, and dangerously overtaking several vehicles.
Wahu denied the charges of obstruction, prompting the magistrate to explain the offense.
She was granted a cash bail of Ksh 15,000 and her case hearing was scheduled for the same day.
