On a fateful Wednesday night at 11:30 pm, singer Otile Brown's white Mercedes Benz collided with a boda boda, leaving two people injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the singer was driving recklessly and intentionally hit the boda boda, causing severe injuries to the rider and minor injuries to DJ Daddy Ramosh, who was a passenger.
Fortunately, Ramosh escaped with minor injuries, but the rider suffered severe knee injuries and was rushed to Kenyatta Hospital.
As the news of the accident spread, a mob almost lynched Otile Brown, but he was rescued by a top DJ.
Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, an eyewitness described the incident, saying, 'Otile Brown has a lot to answer for. He hit the boda boda intentionally then started talking nonsense. He was almost beaten up by a mob but luckily he was rescued by a top DJ. Boda boda riders almost lynched him. He behaves as if he owns this country. Fame has really gotten into his head.'
Adding to the eyewitness account, another source revealed that DJ Daddy Ramosh was discharged from hospital after being stitched 14 times, while the rider's right leg was broken.
Responding to the incident, DJ Daddy Ramosh took to Twitter to call out Otile Brown, thanking God for saving their lives and expressing his gratitude for the DJ who rescued him.
He tweeted, 'God has taught me that I never need to worry about tomorrow. I survived yesterday. I am alive and dealing with today. With God's help, I can face tomorrow and whatever may come my way @OtileBrownKenya it was me whom you intentionally hit with your bloodclat car.'
He also expressed his gratitude to God, saying, 'Dear God, from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for being there for me, never leaving me, and always loving me. @OtileBrownKenya jaribu next time attempting to kill me usidhani mungu hulalala. Wacha vile ulikua unasema ati ni mambo madogo haya killing us.'
