On November 21, 2019, Football Kenya Federation's (FKF) Electoral Board announced the venues and timelines for its county elections, scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

Electoral Board chairman Robert Wamukoya led a training session for returning officers at the federation's Kandanda House headquarters in Kasarani, where they were given a list of eligible voters in their stations.

"The returning officers have been given a list of eligible voters in their stations. As soon as every person on the list has voted, they will close the station publicly and proceed to tally the votes, thereafter, announcing and issuing the winner with a certificate," said Wamukoya.

The polls will be conducted in 18 of the 47 counties, with voters choosing the chairman, secretary general, treasurer, youth and women representative. The remaining seats will not have polls, as the candidates are unopposed.

The exercise will take place between 9am and 4pm at designated polling centers, including Kitale Showground for Trans Nzoia County, Kakamega Hill School for Kakamega County, and Shanzu Teachers College for Mombasa County.

The polls will proceed despite a request by the Sports Registrar to reschedule them and ongoing cases in the High Court and Sports Disputes Tribunal challenging the elections.
