On November 21, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Kisii, Kenya, where a police officer attached to the Kenyerere Police Post took his own life.
According to reports, the officer shot himself twice, once through the stomach and another through the nose, using an AK 47 rifle in his residence, just a few meters away from the police post.
Kisii County Commander Martin Kibet confirmed the incident, stating that investigations into the cause of the incident are underway.
The body was taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for further examination.
