Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has set the bar high for his teammates, stating that a top-four finish in the Premier League will not be enough for the club this season.

Speaking to the press, Rashford emphasized that trophies are the only measure of success for Manchester United, a club with a rich history of winning silverware.

"Manchester United have always got to chase trophies," Rashford said. "I think it's been 18 months since we won our last trophy, so it's been a while."

With the team currently in seventh place in the Premier League, nine points off the Champions League places, Rashford's comments come as a warning to his teammates that they need to focus on winning trophies if they want to be considered successful.

Despite the team's mixed start to the season, Rashford remains optimistic about their chances of success, citing the team's recent form and their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's vision for the club.

"For me, it's just about putting markers down for what we can do in the future because we know this period is not going to change overnight, Ole's not going to get what he wants overnight," Rashford said.
