Kenyan singer Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has been hospitalized in Nairobi, Kenya, but the cause of her illness is not yet known.
According to her Instagram post, Akothee was rushed to the hospital and has been receiving treatment.
"I have been hospitalized for a few days now," Akothee wrote on Instagram from her hospital bed. "Please, bloggers and journalists, do not spread fear about my family, I am fine, it's just exhaustion, I will be back soon," she added.
Akothee had returned to Kenya a few days ago after a trip to Dubai.
