Ulinzi Stars secured a convincing 4-2 win over Kariobangi Sharks in a Kenyan Premier League match at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani on Thursday, November 21, 2019.

Ulinzi Stars striker Oscar Wamalwa scored a brace, while Elvis Nandwa and Harun Mwale also found the back of the net for the soldiers. Sydney Lokale and Eric Kapato scored for the relegation-threatened Sharks.

Ulinzi Stars coach Benjamin Nyangweso expressed his satisfaction with the win, stating that his side will continue to focus on their upcoming matches with the same mentality.

“We played well and were the better side in both halves. We will continue focusing on our coming matches with the same mentality as we did today,” said Nyangweso.

Kariobangi Sharks coach William Muluya acknowledged that his team's defensive mistakes cost them the match, but expressed optimism that they can turn their season around.

“Our problem has been scoring, but today we got goals. We lost focus and our defensive mistakes cost us. We have to win other matches to come out of current position,” said Muluya.
