On November 21, 2019, rapper Khaligraph Jones took to Instagram to share a traumatic experience from his past, one that he had never spoken about before.
He revealed that he met his ex-girlfriend Ruby Jezebel just after high school while working as a bouncer, and at the time, he was trying to make a breakthrough in his music career.
According to Khaligraph, he was convinced that they were destined to be together forever and always, and he even considered her his potential wife.
However, their relationship took a turn for the worse when Ruby started acting strange and eventually dumped Khaligraph, moving on with a sponsor.
Three years later, Ruby reached out to Khaligraph asking for a meet up, but she never showed up, and Khaligraph later found out that she had committed suicide on the same day, after discovering that she had contracted HIV.
As Khaligraph shared in the video titled 'The Ruby Story', Ruby left him a letter saying 'she was sorry for everything.'
He also revealed that Ruby committed suicide on the same exact day they were meant to meet, and he always feels sad about it.
