On November 21, 2019, Kenyan gospel singer Wahu Kagwi was arrested in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, after being flagged by traffic officers for dangerous overtaking.
According to the charge sheet, Wahu was driving a Mercedes Benz 440L without a valid driver's license, which is contrary to the law.
She was taken into custody and charged with the offenses before the Milimani Law Courts.
Wahu denied all the charges and was released on a cash bail of Sh15,000 by Senior Resident Magistrate Elector Riani.
