On Wednesday evening, a tragic car accident occurred on the Kabarnet-Eldoret highway, resulting in the death of K24 journalist Daniel Chemjor.
Chemjor's car rolled several times near the Kerio Valley Bridge before falling into the deep Chebloch Gorge.
Despite efforts to retrieve the body and vehicle, the process was halted due to darkness on Wednesday night, but resumed on Thursday morning.
Chemjor's colleagues remembered him as a hard-working professional and a super TV producer, who was producing K24's popular political show, Punch Line, before his untimely death.
