The mother of late Bongo actor Steven Kanumba is facing a financial crisis, with her son's brother in hospital and mounting medical bills.
Speaking to Wasafi TV, Kanumba's mother pleaded with Diamond Platnumz to assist her in clearing the hospital bills and also provide medical insurance for her son.
'I am pleading with Diamond to at least help us, please let this touch your heart. Kanumba's younger brother Seth is in hospital and we can not take care of the bills. Please Diamond help us pay for them and also if possible kindly get him medical insurance, please,' she said.
It has been five years since Kanumba's untimely demise, and his mother is still struggling to cope with the financial burden.
Interestingly, Diamond Platnumz has previously sung about Kanumba, stating that he was his role model. However, Kanumba's mother claims that she has not received any help from the musician.
She added that she has not seen Diamond Platnumz at his office when she has gone there to seek help.
It remains to be seen if Diamond Platnumz will respond to Kanumba's mother's plea for help.
