Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has sparked controversy by calling for the ban of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga from all foreign countries.

According to Barasa, Odinga's level of corruption is 'highly stinking' and has led to various scandals, including the maize scandal during his tenure as Prime Minister.

Barasa claimed that Odinga had embezzled public funds and misappropriated state resources during the 'kazi kwa vijana' initiative, which was meant to help the youths.

He also accused Odinga of disappearing with CDF funds while he was the MP for Lang'ata constituency, crippling development and destabilizing projects.

Barasa further alleged that Odinga has been the mastermind behind brewing violence in Kenya's elections and has nurtured a culture of violence among his supporters.

He criticized Odinga for unleashing his supporters on him during the Kibra by-election, saying he had survived death by a whisker.

Barasa's call for Odinga's ban from foreign countries has sparked debate, with many questioning the MP's motives.
