On November 21, 2019, the body of Eric Oloo, a correspondent for the Star newspaper, was found dead at his girlfriend's house in Siaya county.
According to Area OCPD Ibrahim Muchuma, three people were arrested and are currently in police custody as investigations into Oloo's death commence.
The house where Oloo's body was found is located just a few meters behind the Ugunja police station, where Inspector Sabina Kerubo, the Deputy OCS, is stationed.
Muchuma confirmed that Oloo's body had three deep cuts on the head.
As the investigation unfolds, the house has been marked as a crime scene.
