On November 21, 2019, tragedy struck when Daniel Chemjor, the Head of Production at K24 TV, lost his life in a car accident along the Iten Kabarnet road.
His car, which was headed towards Cheploch Gorge in River Kerio, rolled several times near the Kerio Valley Bridge before plunging into the gorge.
Despite efforts to retrieve the body and the vehicle being halted due to darkness, the car was eventually recovered at around 11:45 am on Thursday, along with the body of Daniel Chemjor.
At the time of his death, Chemjor was producing K24's popular political show, Punch Line.
