On Wednesday evening, a tragic car accident occurred on the Kabarnet-Eldoret highway, claiming the life of K24 journalist Daniel Chemjor.
Chemjor's car rolled several times near the Kerio Valley Bridge before falling into the deep Chebloch Gorge.
Despite efforts to retrieve the body and vehicle on Wednesday, the process was halted due to darkness.
However, rescue teams resumed their efforts on Thursday morning and successfully retrieved Chemjor's body and his Toyota Premio vehicle.
Chemjor, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was a hard-working professional and a super TV producer, best known for producing K24's popular political show, Punch Line.
