Former Cameroon football star Samuel Eto'o has announced plans to return to school to pursue a degree in business management.

According to reports, Eto'o will join Harvard University in January 2020 to study business management, a move he believes will help him better manage his business ventures.

"When you're a footballer, you pay people to take care of your wealth. But when you're a leader, you need to learn," Eto'o said in an interview.

Eto'o has recognized that football requires physical and mental strength, but leading a business requires intellectual and moral strength.

"It's not easy, but it's a big challenge and it will open doors," he added.
