Published on November 21, 2019, AFC Leopards head coach Andre Casa Mbungo is confident that his team will bounce back from their 4-1 loss to Gor Mahia in the Mashemeji derby.

Leopards will face hosts Bandari FC at the Mbaraki Sports Club in Mombasa this afternoon in a Kenyan Premier League match.

Despite Bandari occupying position 12 on the log with 11 points, Mbungo believes that his team can break records and earn a good result.

“It is true that to earn a point from Bandari in Mombasa is not easy but records are meant to be broken, we’re focused on playing and getting good results,” he added.

Leopards have a fully fit squad to choose from, but the team may face a challenge due to delayed salaries for up to four months, which could affect player motivation.

Other matches scheduled for today include KCB vs Chemelil Sugar at Kenyatta Stadium, Mathare United vs Sofapaka at Kasarani, Nzoia Sugar vs Posta Rangers at Sudi Stadium, and Kisumu All Stars vs Wazito FC.
