On November 17, 2019, the streets of Nairobi were painted with vibrant colors as Kenya's best cyclists took part in the annual #GardenCityCriterium.

The event, held at the foot of Nairobi's Garden City Business Park, featured five races, including the Men's Elite category, Men's Amateur (category 2), Recreational Men (category 3), Ladies Elite race, and the Children's fun lap.

Kenyan Riders Bike Aid's Charles Kagimu stole the headlines after winning the Men's elite race in 12:56:02, a good twenty-six seconds ahead of Bike Aid's Suleiman Kangangi and Salim Kipkemboi.

The Ladies Elite race saw team Frankies' Nancy Akinyi take the top spot, crossing the finish line in 10:43:23, with Naivasha Cycling's Joyce Nyauri coming a close second in 10:44:04.

The kids' fun lap set the tone for a delightful day, with Shalom Kimeu, Arnold Njuguna, Liam Kang'ethe, Timon Hawi, and Ian Mburu showing fellow youngsters how it's done.
