Deputy President William Ruto has revealed plans to encourage his daughter Abby to pursue a course in Land Survey in the near future.

The move comes after Abby scored impressive marks in this year's KCPE exams, garnering 406 marks and appearing in the list of honour of students who scored above 400 marks.

According to the Deputy President, Abby's immaculate results have made him eager to see her pursue a course in Land Survey, which he believes will provide her with a marketable and lucrative career path.

Dr. Ruto emphasized that with the current state of employment opportunities in Kenya, it is essential for young people to specialize in areas that will yield direct opportunities, and Land Survey is one such field.

He clarified that Abby has positively accepted his proposal for the course, a decision that has made him feel truly like a father.

Dr. Ruto also dismissed claims that he was up to some malice with the proposal, stating that as a father, he has the right to shape the dreams of his children.
