Land Grabbing Allegations ¶
Human Rights activist Boniface Mwangi has slammed Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi for supporting and offering legal services to city land grabbers.
On April 4, 2017, Boni tweeted that Ahmednasir was representing a land grabber who had allegedly stolen part of the Racecourse Primary School land.
"The Grand Mullah @ahmednasirlaw is representing the alleged landgrabber of Racecourse Primary school land! Shame.Shame. #RohoJuu", Boni tweeted.
Fast forward to November 20, 2019, Boni tweeted that the court had allowed them to reclaim the Racecourse Primary School land, which had allegedly been grabbed by Ahmednasir's client.
"@ahmednasirlaw is the lawyer to a landgrabber who had stolen part of Racecourse Primary School.The grabber even attempted to bribe @EACCKenya.We finally got the title, today we demolish the structures he had built in the school illegally", Boni tweeted.
Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has denied the allegations, stating that the case was settled in court and that Boni was busy evicting non-existent developers.
"Boniface.. This matter was resolved in court. See the consent sent to the Registrar of the High Court…and then you lie to some people that "team courage"…which is TEAM EXTORTION is evicting nonexistent people…SHAME ON YOU…GREEDY BOY…", Ahmednasir tweeted.
