On November 20, 2019, gospel artiste Size 8 welcomed her second child into the world via emergency Caesarean section (CS) at RFH Healthcare. The mother of two had been admitted to the hospital after a series of tests revealed that her baby was in distress.
Size 8 and her husband had previously suffered a miscarriage in 2018, making this baby a long-awaited and precious gift. Speaking about her delivery, Size 8 expressed her gratitude to her doctor, Dr. Thuo, and his team for their expertise and care.
According to Size 8, her doctor and his wife were trying to buy more time for her to deliver the baby safely. She recalled, "DR THUO (HER DOCTOR) AND HIS WIFE WERE TRYING TO BUY MORE TIME BECAUSE THE LAST SCAN I HAD TAKEN SHOWED THAT I WAS 34 WEEKS PREGNANT."
When the baby's heart rate was tested, it was found to be above 180, prompting the medical team to decide on an emergency CS delivery. Size 8's primary concern was the well-being of her baby, and she was relieved when the baby was delivered safely.
