November 20, 2019, will forever be etched in the minds of Khaligraph Jones fans as the day the Kenyan rapper shared a heart-wrenching story of his former classmate's downfall.

Back in high school, Khaligraph's classmate, Boni, was the talk among teachers for his exceptional grades. While Khaligraph struggled with grade E's in Maths, Boni would scoop straight A's, leaving everyone in awe.

True to his KCSE results, Boni's brilliance was cemented, and everyone went their separate ways. However, five years later, the two classmates met in the most unexpected way - Boni, now a 24-year-old, was armed with a firearm, ordering Khaligraph to the ground in a bid to rob him.

But Khaligraph declined, and instead, faced Boni, only to realize that his face was familiar. With a couple of flashbacks, he remembered that Boni was his former 'Straight A' classmate.

Boni, however, recognized Khaligraph's face and the two had a chat. That's when Boni disclosed to the rapper how drug abuse in campus had seen him kicked out and left at the mercy of the cold streets.

Khaligraph later took Boni for lunch and handed him Ksh 500, but since then, they have never crossed paths again. His prayer, however, is that Boni eventually recuperated and is now in a better place.

However, the message Khaligraph wants to send home is 'Vijana Tuwache Mihadarati' - a reminder to the youth to shun drug abuse, which is now messing up their lives.

He reiterates what Stivo Simple Boy told the youths who have indulged in drug abuse, that it's a danger that robs society of the best IQs, whose future was almost guaranteed.
