On November 19, 2019, actress Kristen Bell was honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, a prestigious recognition of her contributions to the entertainment industry.
During the ceremony, Bell joked about the potential for a mugger to demand a purse on the same spot, saying 'Let it go!' in reference to her hit song from the Disney movie 'Frozen.'
Bell, known for her roles in TV shows such as 'Veronica Mars' and 'The Good Place,' was joined by fellow honoree Idina Menzel, who also stars in the sequel to 'Frozen.'
The ceremony took place on Hollywood Boulevard, with Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti and Walt Disney Studios co-chairman Alan Horn in attendance.
When accepting the honor, Bell said, 'As wonderful as this recognition feels in the moment, I know that it's only temporary.' She added, 'This star will really only know its true value when inevitably, someone is mugged in that very spot, and as they clutch their purse, the assailant screams, 'Let it go!' And the victim will look up and say, 'That's not even her song, you son of a bitch.'
