Size 8 and DJ Mo Share Emotional Journey of Their Newborn's Birth ¶
On November 20, 2019, gospel singer Size 8 and her husband DJ Mo released a video confirming the birth of their second child, which was a complicated and emotional journey.
Size 8 revealed that she had to be admitted to the hospital after experiencing complications during her pregnancy, including a high heart rate for the baby and her own health issues.
According to the video, Size 8's health was on the rocks, and her body had been pushed beyond its limits during the nine-month journey.
She shared that she experienced convulsions and minor strokes, which led to her being taken for scans and treated by a heart physician.
After several days, Size 8 started feeling better, and the baby was finally delivered through an emergency operation.
The baby was rushed to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) due to its high heart rate reading of 180 bpm.
Fortunately, the operation was a success, and the baby could be seen sound asleep beside Size 8 in the video.
The video also included footage from the baby shower where Size 8 advised against taking such events lightly, labelling it a gift from God.
Size 8 suffered a miscarriage in 2018, which caused a rift in her marriage and drove her to depression.
Ever since, Size 8 has learned to value the little moments and cherish the people around her.
