On an unknown date, a heinous crime shook the residents of Sunton Kasarani when a 24-year-old Kisii University student, Leah Momanyi, was found raped and stabbed to death in her apartment.
Leah's boyfriend, Benson Chacha, discovered her lifeless body on the bed, with bloodstains on the floor. The couple had been living together, with Leah working to raise money for her school fees.
The caretaker of the apartment reported hearing screams at around 11:35 pm, but was unable to locate the source. Leah's boyfriend later found her murdered.
Residents are calling for the police and DCI to speed up investigations and arrest the perpetrators of this heinous act.
