On November 20, 2019, gospel artiste Size 8 gave birth to her second child via emergency Cesarean Section (CS) after her unborn baby's heart rate skyrocketed to 180.

Size 8 had kept her second pregnancy under wraps until weeks before her delivery, when she finally revealed her baby bump.

Speaking about her experience on their YouTube channel, Size 8 recalled being rushed to the hospital in an emergency state, unable to walk due to her condition.

'I came to RFH Health care as an emergency and I couldn’t walk so I was rushed off for checkups and then they went on to check on the fetus’ heartbeat,' Size 8 said.

She added that she was put on oxygen and administered neuron medication to manage her convulsions.

At around 3am, the fetus's heart rate went high again, prompting an emergency to try and bring the rate down.

Size 8 revealed that her doctor, Dr Thuo, and his wife were trying to buy more time because the last scan she had taken showed that she was 34 weeks pregnant.

When they tested the heart rate of the baby, it was above 180, prompting the decision to deliver the baby via CS.

Size 8's primary concern was whether the baby was okay.
