It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Francis Kiberu 'Gogo' Gachaga, a cherished member of the Newark, Delaware community, on November 14th, 2019.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories with his family, including his sister Faith Gachaga Mwangi of Newark, DE, and his sisters Millicent, Rose, and Irene Gachaga of Nairobi, Kenya. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to Lawrence Mwangi of Newark, DE, and an uncle to several nieces and nephews, including Geoffrey Ngao, Jason Gachaga, Courtney, Emily, Michelle 'Nimu' Mwangi, and Vivian Wangechi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019, at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702. The viewing will take place from 9:00-11:00 am, followed by the service, and burial service will follow immediately after at Hickory Grove Cemetery, 428 Port Penn Road, Middletown, DE 19709.
