November 19, 2019, marked a significant milestone in Jahmby Koikai's recovery journey from endometriosis. The media personality has been using her social media platforms to share updates on her progress, including the use of a mask to protect her lungs.

According to Koikai, her immune system is still not stable, but she has made significant progress in her recovery. The mask has been instrumental in preventing her lungs from collapsing, a terrifying experience she has described as 'pure hell on earth.'

'I wear this mask proudly,' Koikai said in a recent post. 'Someone really close to me advised me to... My lungs are not at the optimum level yet, but I've made great progress. I don't experience lung collapses anymore, and that is something I really thank God for.'

Endometriosis is a condition that affects many women worldwide, and Koikai is determined to use her platform to raise awareness and support for those affected. In December, she will be hosting 20 women with endometriosis for lunch, an event aimed at providing a safe space for them to share their stories and experiences.

'I also bear my scars proudly,' Koikai said. 'I do receive hundreds of messages from women every day in regards to Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, fibroids, and other menstrual-related conditions/illnesses.'

With her recovery journey well underway, Koikai remains committed to using her voice to advocate for women's health and well-being.
