A 25-year-old woman, Faith Wangui, was brutally murdered in Nakuru, leaving behind a family and friends in shock.

On November 19, 2019, the body of Joseph Muchiri, the main suspect in Wangui's murder, was found hanging from a tree in the Mau Narok area of Njoro.

According to Nakuru County Police Commander Stephen Matu, Wangui had left a letter before her death, which was found in a pocket of her husband's trousers.

"I cannot bear the pain of losing my wife, and I am asking everyone to leave me alone," Matu read from the letter.

Wangui's body was taken to the Nakuru County Referral Hospital morgue, while her husband's body was found in the Menengai Crater area.

Matu said that Wangui's husband had been killed brutally, and his body was found scattered in the area.
