November 19, 2019, marked a significant day for Kenyans as the KCPE results were released, and among the top performers was Abby Cherop Ruto, daughter of Deputy President William Ruto.

Abby, a 13-year-old student from Greenvale School in Uasin Gishu County, scored an impressive 406 marks, leaving many in awe.

Her mother, Prisca Chemutai Bett, expressed pride in her daughter's academic achievements, stating that Abby has been a promising student throughout her academic journey.

While some individuals were not pleased with the news, many Kenyan women took to social media to appreciate the simplicity and humility of Abby and her mother, Prisca, who bears a striking resemblance to Rachel Ruto, the Deputy President's wife.

Users on Twitter, such as Mercy Birir and Mildred Anyango, praised the two women for their understated elegance, with Mercy suggesting that shaving her hair might bring her good fortune, and Mildred emphasizing the importance of simplicity in life.

It is worth noting that Prisca Chemutai Bett had previously sued Deputy President William Ruto in 2017 for upkeep, but the matter was eventually dropped after the DP confirmed that he was indeed Abby's father.
