The selection of secondary schools for KCPE 2019 candidates has kicked off in Naivasha, with a team from the Ministries of Education and ICT leading the process.
According to Education CS George Magoha, the team will place candidates based on their performance and the capacity of various schools.
The results of the process will be announced on December 2, 2019, marking the end of the month-long exercise.
The team will first select students for national and county schools, followed by lower schools.
Out of the 1,083,456 candidates who sat for the KCPE 2019 examinations, 543,000 were boys and 539,874 girls.
A total of 181,016 contracted professionals were involved in the administration of the 2019 KCPE examination, including centre managers, supervisors, invigilators, security officers, and drivers.
