On November 19, 2019, a story was shared about a young student who made headlines in 2013 after impressing President Uhuru Kenyatta with his performance at the annual Kenya Schools, Colleges and Universities Drama Festivals winners concert at State House, Mombasa.
David Owira, a student from Highway Secondary school, had the audience in stitches with his thrilling performance titled Otonglo Time, which left President Uhuru Kenyatta laughing his heart out.
David's performance was so impressive that he was adopted by the President and his family, with The Kenyatta Trust paying his fees all through high school and university.
David got to meet Ngina Kenyatta, the director of The Kenyatta Trust, and the two have a special bond.
Here is a rare photo of Ngina hanging out with her adopted brother.
