On November 19, 2019, Deputy President William Ruto made good on a promise he made to his daughter Abby in January. For every mark she scored in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), he had assured her of a Ksh 10,000 reward.
Abby's impressive performance earned her a total of Ksh 40.6 million, a sum that her father was eager to keep private. However, her mother, Prisca Bett, was more than happy to share the news with the public.
Prisca took to her Facebook account to express her gratitude to God for Abby's excellent marks. "God you are Ebenezer, your Grace is sufficient! 406 it is…Glory to God," she wrote.
