It's a heartwarming story that dates back to 2013, when a young student from Highway Secondary school named David Owira stole the show at the annual Kenya Schools, Colleges and Universities Drama Festivals winners concert at State House, Mombasa, on November 19, 2013.
David's thrilling performance, titled Otonglo Time, left President Uhuru Kenyatta in stitches, and he even asked the young performer to tweet him on Twitter.
David's response, 'Mr President, tweet me yawa!' has become a memorable moment in Kenyan history.
As a result of his impressive performance, President Kenyatta adopted David and paid his fees all through high school and university through The Kenyatta Trust, a charity founded by his mother, Ngina Kenyatta.
David got to meet Ngina Kenyatta, the director of the trust, and the two have a special bond.
Here's a rare photo of Ngina Kenyatta hanging out with her adopted brother, David Owira.
