Published on November 19, 2019, Daren Miranda and his co-driver Wayne Fernandes are set to compete in the KCB Eldoret Rally, hoping to seal the 2019 Two Wheel Drive Championship.
The duo has entered a 2WD Subaru Impreza and is aiming to finish the Western Kenya Motor Club-organized event on a high note.
Currently, they are placed third in Division 2, first in 2WD, and 22nd overall in the KNRC standings.
Having already secured an unassailable lead in the Two Wheel Drive Championship, they need to complete one more event to meet the 80% threshold for Championship success.
Wayne Fernandes expressed his excitement about competing in his home rally, saying, “It’s always a great pleasure being involved with my home rally; and this could not have come at a better time when we are planning to seal it in Eldoret Rally.”
