Top 10 Students in KCPE 2019 Exams ¶
On November 18, 2019, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha announced the results of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams, which were taken by over 1.1 million students across the country.
Andy Michael Munyiri of Damacrest School Thogoto emerged as the top student with a score of 440 out of 500, followed closely by three other students who scored 439 each.
According to the results, the top 10 students in the country were from various schools, including Damacrest School Thogoto, Chakol Girls, Sang'alo Central Academy, Kitengela International School, Makini School, Gilgil Hills Academy, Emmanuel Primary School, Lakewood School Kayole, and Makini School.
The results showed that Bungoma, Bomet, and Kericho counties had the highest number of students with high scores, while Turkana, Garissa, and Kilifi counties had the highest number of students with low scores.
