Published on November 19, 2019, a woman was charged with assault before the Makadara Law Courts in Nairobi.
Pauline Kambua Kasenge, the accused, allegedly stabbed Linet Kiptes Jepkosgei several times at Kaloleni Estate on November 8.
Jepkosgei had visited her ex-husband at his home, unaware that Kasenge was present.
Neighbours rescued Jepkosgei and took her to hospital for treatment before she reported the incident at Makongeni Police Station.
Kasenge denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of Sh 20,000. The case will be heard on March 18, 2020.
