TV Anchor Waihiga Mwaura's Passionate Preaching in Eldoret Church Leaves Congregants in Awe ¶
On a recent visit to Eldoret, TV anchor Waihiga Mwaura and his wife Joyce Omondi were invited to Deliverance Church by Bishop George Gichana.
Waihiga's sermon, which was shared on YouTube, highlighted the importance of integrity at work, emphasizing that everyone has a purpose to fulfill in their place of work.
He urged the congregants to understand their purpose and have the courage to do the right thing at their workplace, saying, 'Do you understand why you have that job or you are still tarmacking? Do you understand that there is a greater purpose than what you see? Once you understand that you will have greater courage in doing the right thing at your workplace.'
Waihiga's passion and conviction left the congregants in awe, and his message resonated deeply with them.
It's worth noting that Waihiga took over News Night at Citizen TV shortly after the departure of colleague Hussein Mohammed, who had a 10-year stint at the station.
Deliverance Church Bishop George Gichana's invitation to Waihiga and his wife was a testament to the church's commitment to spreading the word of God and inspiring its congregants.
