Abby, the daughter of Deputy President William Ruto, has made her family proud by scoring 406 marks in the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams.

Released on Monday by Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha, the results show that Abby is among 9,770 candidates who scored more than 400 marks.

Abby's mother, Prisca Chemutai Bett, took to Facebook to share the news, saying "God you are Ebenezer, you Grace is sufficient! 406 it is...Glory to God."

Ms. Bett's post comes after she sued DP Ruto for child maintenance for their daughter in 2017, when Abby was 11 years old.

At the time, Ruto publicly admitted to siring the girl in 2006 and dismissed her mother's allegations that he had avoided his parental obligations.

"My 11-year-old child Abby is well catered for including her education in a private boarding school. Politicians & Busybodies should keep off,” Ruto said on social media.

Andy Michael Munyiri from Thogoto was named the top candidate with 440 marks, followed by the Flavian Onyango (Chakol Girls), June Cheptoo Koech (Sangalo Central) and Sean Michael Ndung’u (Kitengela International School) with 439 marks each.
