Busia County's Top Girl in 2019 KCPE Aspires to Become a Doctor

Flavian Onyango, a student from St Teresa Girls' High School in Teso South, Busia County, has set her sights high after scoring 439 out of 500 in the 2019 KCPE exams, just one mark behind the top scorer.

According to the Busia County Government's Facebook page, Flavian expressed her joy and aspirations to join Alliance Girls' High School to pursue her secondary education and eventually become a doctor.

Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has congratulated Flavian for putting the county on the national map, and has pledged that the county government will provide support to all deserving students from poor families.

Flavian's achievement has been hailed as a remarkable one, especially considering that she is from a humble background. Her story is a testament to the fact that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.

Other students who scored the same marks as Flavian are from Sang'alo Central Primary School and a private school.
