On November 18, 2019, the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results were announced, revealing the top performers in the country.
Among the top scorers were three students from Precious Talent Top School in Nairobi, who managed to excel despite the tragic events that had unfolded at their school earlier in the year.
Grace Achieng Lwoka, Nicole Sangwera Sianyo, and Martin Mwangi Yiminyi scored 408, 405, and 402 marks respectively, making them among the top performers in the country.
The three students were among those who were transferred to other schools after their school was shut down following the collapse of two classrooms on September 23, 2019, which resulted in the deaths of eight pupils and serious injuries to 64 others.
