On November 18, 2019, Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha announced the results of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) 2019 exams.
The top student, Andy Michael Munyiri, scored an impressive 440 marks, making him the top candidate in the 2019 KCPE exams.
Among the top scorers was Opondo Cynthia Malia, daughter of Peter Opondo, a managing editor at K24, who scored 416 marks.
