On November 18, 2019, the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results were released by Education CS George Magoha, revealing the top performers in the country.

Andy Michael Munyiri, a pupil from Damacrest Academy in Thogoto, Kiambu county, emerged as the top candidate with an impressive 440 marks out of 500.

He was closely followed by three other candidates who tied with 439 marks: Flavian Koech, June Cheptoo Koech, and Sean Ndung'u.

The results also showed that girls excelled in English, Kiswahili, and Sign Language, while boys performed better in mathematics, science, and social studies.

Interestingly, Bungoma, Bomet, and Kericho counties had the highest number of underage candidates, while Turkana, Garissa, and Kilifi counties led with the highest number of average pupils.
