On November 18, 2019, the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) 2019 exam results were released, marking a significant milestone for the country's education system.

Andy Michael Munyiri emerged as the top candidate, scoring an impressive 440 marks out of the possible 500. This achievement was closely followed by three other candidates who tied for the second position with 439 marks.

Notably, two of the top-scoring candidates were girls from public schools, highlighting the potential and talent of students from all backgrounds.

Cabinet Secretary George Magoha, while releasing the results, assured the candidates that they would receive their due results, and that the exams were not leaked.

Mr. Magoha also announced that all candidates would transition to secondary school, and provided parents with a convenient way to access their children's results by texting their index number followed by 'KCPE' to the short code 20076.
